Our monthly St. Thomas trip.

Most people that live on St. John need to go to St. Thomas at least once a month to stock up on food and supplies. We bring a large cooler packed with ice to put our perishable items in that. We spend between $600-$700 each trip but it lasts us the entire month. I divide the meat into portions that we will use and put them all into freezer bags and we use as needed.
We shop at Kmart, Cost U Less, Home Depot and Pricesmart. The car barge is $50 round trip and if we are on the 8:30 or 9 o'clock barge we can usually make it back on the 1.
