Thanks for an awesome report. I just wanted to comment on Luminaria, as we stayed there 2 years ago in October. You will not be disappointed, it is an unbelievable villa. The pool was definitely warm enough, and I like a warm pool. Running the fountain seems to raise the temperature a bit. There is ...

To Obsessedmuch.... SILLY??? NOT!! We have about 20-some days. I can't have a countdown, I just say to myself 'about x more weeks. If I dwell on the fact that I am really honest-to-goodness going to St. John soon, I get the shakes. My friends think I am looney because I have already packed most of m...

Good evening, everyone... On the subject of cheap airfares,if anyone is hoping for a last minute trip,we were able to book a EWR-STT flight on Continental last year for under $300 including taxes. We went June 12-20th, and I believe we booked about 2-3 weeks ahead. I hope someone finds this useful. ...

Don't know about enjoying picnics, but they help with the groceries! My husband ran down to Love City Market to pick up a few things, which turned into quite a lot of things. He paid for the purchases, took a few bags out to the jeep and put them on the seat. He went back into the store to grab the ...

May I be so bold as to propose a Drunk Broke Friends Tour Part 2 ? My husband and I will be arriving on May 19th, staying thru May 30th. We would love to organize a get-together. We will be staying out in Coral Bay. Maybe a night at Island Blues?? All in favor? Maybe next year, we can plan for every...

for kygirl - Bookit VI
Hi kygirl- We have used Bookit-vi and were extremely pleased with their service. Bill Dove actually met us at the foot of the ferry gangplank (not sure if that is still allowed) and helped us cart our luggage to his truck. Bill also gave us his personal cell number for emergencies, should we need it...

The way this police officer handled this does seem really harsh, but it seems she was within her authority to issue the ticket and make poor Thomas charge the credit card. On the other hand how do you go about dropping off your bags??? Is there a designated pick up/drop off spot? And another questio...

Service charge
I have an issue with the service charge also. I guess if we had received superior sevice from Caribbean Villas, it might not be so bad. Our service from both Bookit-Vi and Viva was far superior, and neither charge a service fee. I believe both also offer discounts for return visitors and a great wel...

Hi Lulu, I can't comment on the villa, as we have not stayed there. We have rented thru Book-it VI, (Skyridge, an awesome villa) and very highly recommend them. Bill was waiting for us right on the dock and helped us drag our luggage to his car. Their service was top notch in every respect. I hope t...
