US Airways On line Check In Info
US Airways On line Check In Info
Just did my on line check in with USAirways and I just wanted to give everyone the heads up that they require passport information to do the on-line check in! I had all the info so it wasn't a big deal, but what about the folks that don't have a passport? USVI and Puerto Rico still don't require passports as far as I know. Has anyone experienced the same with other airlines?
Steve: I did my on-line check-in with USAirways on 3/2 for my 3/3 departure and I did not have to provide any passport information. I departed from Bradley Airport in Hartford, CT and caught a connection flight in North Carolina to STT, though I can't imagine the requirements being different for departure locations!?!? (You are correct that no passport is required for the Virgin Islands.) Anyway, very happy that I did take advantage of the early check-in, because the line for check-in was out the door and a mile long, which I was able to by-pass and use the kioch (sp?) machine. Happy travels! Ali~

That's new. I went down at the end of last motn. I checked in online - both going down and coming back. There was no passport info required.
Hmmmmm....do they have you flagged? If you see "SS" on the bottom of your boarding pass, you're going to get the full body search - fyi. It has happened to me - twice. I must look sneaky.
