Help -Lost My Camera - If Found....
I lost my Cannon point and shoot somewhere between Miss Lucy's and Haulover Bay.
It's a black cannon and I am not worried about the camera itself but more importantly my pictures on the memory card. All of our trip pics on St John and Puerto Rico.
If found please send me an email.

Re: Day trip ideas?
The best day trip on St John is aboard the Kekoa. It's a beautiful catamaran that takes off to several stops for snorkeling before it ends up at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke. The great thing about this boat over the power boats is that once the sails go up it's just the wind, water, and a l...

Re: How Do You Close An Ocean???
Here in Arizona they closed the Grand Canyon. My question is where did they find a tarp big enough to cover it?

How Do You Close An Ocean???
Closing the bays and parks? Wow! It just can't get any more crazy. And if the bays are closed, who is patrolling them and making people leave? All I can say is that if we don't like it then vote new people in. Write down the incumbents name and vote for ANYONE but them!!! At this point does it matte...

Re: Sailing trip choice
When asked I always tell people to take the Kekoa. It is by far the best catamaran excursion I have taken on St John and I have taken many of them. I have been on Kekoa on 3 different trips and never been disappointed. Sailing with engines off is so much nicer than riding the powerboats. The Kekoa s...

Re: BVI..Baths..Soggy Dollar Trip
Taking a day trip to Jose Van Dyke? You got to use the Kekoa! Hands down the best excursion I've taken.
Kekoa stops at a couple of spots before it ends up in White Bay at Soggy Dollar. You won't be disappointed.
Some pictures of my trips on Kekoa on my blog.

Re: Giant Manta at Francis
December 2011 there were two manta rays at Maho while we were there. I had heard about them but didn't believe it until I saw them for myself. They were really spectatular. I got a couple of photos and posted them on my blog. I hope they come back. In 15 years traveling to St John I had never seen t...

Re: What do you know about Lavender Hill?
I've been staying at Lavender Hill for years. I used to book some of the villas around the island but Lavender Hill offers such a good deal and the convenience of being just a quick walk from the down town. Plus like others mentioned there is parking too. Some updating needs to be done but those fol...

Any Beach Advice For A Layover In Puerto Rico?
I'm thinking of spending a couple of days in Puerto Rico on my way down to St John and was wondering what might be some good beaches to visit while I'm there. Maybe a beach with some good snorkeling if possible.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

What Is The Coolest Sea Creature You've Spotted?
Some of my favorite snorkeling in St John has been when I've come across sea creatures that you don't typically see. Eagle rays, lemon sharks, octopus, tarpon, etc. But my favorite has been the manta rays that I saw in Maho bay last year. I didn't believe they were in St John until I saw them for my...

Humpback Whale Migration
I'm coming down in April and was wondering if the humpback whale migration would still be going on during my visit? In all the years I have visited St John this will be the first trip in the spring.
