Sailing trip choice

Post by scotties »

We are trying to decide between going on the bad kitty or kekoa for a day sailing trip. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Kekoa hands down. The crew is great & the Captain is extremely knowledgeable about the waters. As a former local, I can tell you, he is great!

When asked I always tell people to take the Kekoa. It is by far the best catamaran excursion I have taken on St John and I have taken many of them. I have been on Kekoa on 3 different trips and never been disappointed.
Sailing with engines off is so much nicer than riding the powerboats. The Kekoa stops a t a couple of places on the way to Jost Van Dyke and it's always a treat.
On my blog I have some pictures of my previous trips on Kekoa.

enjoy!

Two professional power boat captains recommended Kekoa to us.

We had a sail booked that was cancelled due to crazy rain and we were so disappointed. (but understood why) I just moved it to our "Next Trip" list.
