We rented this villa on the far East End (steep walking distance to Sloop Jones) on Priveteer Bay the week of 7/16-7/23/2011 and I must say the views from every room were stunning!
This is a 5 bedroom ensuite villa with air conditioning in each room and in a separate room without ac there is a queen sofa bed. The rooms are in two separate pods with a pool between them. One pod has master suite with separate room (sofa bed), beverage fridge, food storage and outside shower upstairs. Downstairs are two more bedrooms (one with queen bed, the other 2 twin beds).
The other pod is called the main pod as it has the roomy kitchen (side by side fridge, beverage fridge, gas stove/oven, plenty of cabinet space) and common area with television/stero, couch/chair/tables and medium glass table with 4 chairs. Upstairs where the common area are two bedrooms (one queen, the other 2 twin beds). All bedrooms face the bay with incredible views.
Both pods have generous balconies with tables and chairs, the main pod has a good size gas grill.
The common areas were not A/C'd but the tradewinds kept the area comfortable, bugs were not a big problem and the birds flying around the villa were plenty and entertaining.
Be prepared for the drive to Wild Jasmine as there are some very steep switchbacks and 4 wheel drive is definitly needed. This is a quite area, but is what the adults wanted. The teens had no problem hitching a ride to Coral and Cruz Bays and met some nice people and in return we picked up people.
Terry the house manager was at the villa when we arrived and was pleasant and was very adamant on water/electrical conservation which I was glad as some of the teens in the group just don't get it.
The only negative is the frige/freezer needs to be replaced. There were 12 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. I would highly recommend this villa and would rent it again in a heartbeat.
