We just returned from St. John and we stayed at Villa Jumbie. It was everything and more. The house is beautiful and well equiped. We cooked in a few nights and there was plenty of cooking utensils. The only thing that the kitchen did not have was a cookie sheet or a broiler pan. We made do. The gas grill was really nice to have. The view was very nice. The picture does not do it justice. Very roomy and large enough for two couples. The bedrooms and bathrooms are equal. Plenty of privacy. The best part of the house was the wrap around porch. Very nice comfortable furniture. Ceiling fans across the porch help keep it comfortable. We really liked the location in Coral Bay. The driveway is steep and curvy but you get used to it. The only negative is it gets daylight very early and there are no curtains. You have to shut the storm shutters for the bedroom on the ground floor to have privacy. Not a big problem. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. Having air throughout and washer and dryer was a big plus. We didn't use the pool much but it was nice and fairly warm. It gets direct sunlight. They provide some pool floats, beach chairs and a cooler with ice packs. I hope this helps anyone that is interested in staying there.
