Wow, Wild, and Wonderful. All of that and more.
We were a party of two, H and W, traveling to St John for our 3rd time together. We have stayed in Cruz Bay (Gallows), and Reef Bay (Over the Rainbow). We wanted to stay at the "other end" of the island, and fell in love with the area immediately. We would stay at this villa again in a heart beat.
The beautiful 3 bedroom/ 3 1/2 bath villa was perfect, plenty of parking, views, every item you could want to make your stay enjoyable. Love the kitchen, it is so well equipped. Everything you need for a romantic dinner for 2 to a sitdown dinner for family. The many decks for relaxing, game playing, turtle watching, reading, and sunset viewing. Hammocks (2) to relax in. A short walk down to a rocky beach (Long Bay). And another short walk down to a salt pond and another rocky beach (Pond Bay). A pool overlooking the blue waters, a hot tub to soak in the stars views after a day of hiking. 3 outdoor showers. We came down with villa gravity issues the first few days it was so relaxing.
Yes, it may seem like it is a long way for Cruz Bay, it kinda is, but we still made it back twice during our stay. Coral Bay to the villa is a 10-15 minute ride through Park Lands, past Haulover, past Hansen Bay, past Sloop Jones Studio, keep going, you are almost there. As you reach the end of Long Point, you take a switchback and BAM, you are there, time to get your RELAX ON!
The master bedroom suite has its verandah, outdoor shower, kitchenette, and inside sitting area. The views from the pillowtop are amazing, again, it made it hard to leave this magical place of no cell phones, no clocks (in the bedrooms), no computers, except to post some fun pictures to family and friends back home.
