Sun, Moon & Stars: Welcome Home

You know how you find something really special and you hesitate telling anyone about it because then they all want it? Well, that's how I feel about SMS. From the moment we set foot inside, it felt like home. SMS is a one bedroom gem that sits atop Calabash Boom in Coral Bay. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals at home. There is a brand new hot tub with multicolored lights and the pool is rather large and has nighttime lights. The ample deck gives you plenty room to spread out, whether for a nap, reading or just some alone time. There is a very nice sound system inside and out. They have a nice library of CD's and DVD's; Wi-Fi is available. They have a nice collection of reading material as well. There is AC in the bedroom and the bed is very comfortable. The large doors, facing the water, allow for plenty of tropical breezes. The view is spectacular! You can see Tortola, the East End of STJ, Peter Island and more. There is a villa next door but it was no bother at all. The only time we heard the neighbors was on Sunday morning and the sound of a piano drifted in through the windows. The drive up Calabash Boom could be harrowing for those not accustomed to dirt roads, twists, turns, bump and ruts. Driving in the Ozark Mountains more than prepared us that. For us, SMS was perfect. Bonny was a gem to deal with as well as Chris and Carrie, the owners. Hopefully we will be back as soon as we can and will definitely stay at SMS again.
