Between the time we booked this villa and actually stayed there the price was raised from $1750 to $2800 (2 people off season). While I did like the villa I don't see where the price increase is coming from and I won't be willing to pay that price again.
What we liked - this 2 bedroom villa, located on Gifft Hill met many of the requirements we look for in a villa. Those include great views, pool, bedroom AC at minimum, comfortable furnishings, wifi. We love this location and had previously stayed at the villa right next door, Villa Capiz.
Overall I preferred the views at Capiz to this villa. The views here are somewhat impeded by very mature trees that blocked part of the sunset views. It should be noted that we were here in late November and views will change at other times of year. In comparison we stayed at Capiz at the same time of year and did not lose any of the sunset.
The "master" in this house has an entrance that must be accessed from outside. I would say the 2 bedrooms are equal but the "master" has an excellent view. The other bedroom doesn't have much of a view aside from the pool.
The living area was comfortable for 2 but I think 4 would be a challenge in the interior living area.
The outside space is large. There is a full screened terrace area off the main living area. There is a dining table where we ate all meals. We really enjoyed this area however the furniture in the seating area could be improved.
The outdoor pool furniture is nearly non existent. There are 2 chaise lounges that appear old and dirty. If I was one who wanted to lounge all day in a chaise I would not have been pleased.
Overall we enjoyed the villa but at this price we would not rent it again. At $1750 it is a very good deal but I don't understand the extreme price increase. (Also note that the $2800 price is now more than Villa Capiz and we would choose that villa over this at these prices).
