Best time of year to be on STJ?
I know, I know, anytime is a good time to be on STJ but since I can't get there this winter what is May, June, October,or November like on STJ? I hate to leave Michigan when the weather is finally nice but I need an STJ fix bad!!!

We love late April/May for our romantic alone vacation...July for the "kid" vacation.
The only time we don't want to go is during "high" season. Prices to high and crowds to contend with.
On the downside, going "off season" is that some restaurants are not open or have limited hours. So far, that has not been an issue with us. The places we love are open when we need them to be.
Hope this helps.

I love going for 4th 0f July week. You get the best of both worlds. Cruz Bay is busy and almost everything is open, because its St. John Carnival. There aren't so many people on Island so that the beaches are crowded, though. You get the low season prices, great weather, a wonderful Carnival village and parade, and fireworks over Cruz Bay! I'll be there again this July! Can't wait.
