A Few Questions (To Tickle Your Funnybone)
Thanks to those who have posted. I wasn't sure how it would be recieved and am glad you found it amusing. I still ask lots of questions, but it's good to have a sense of humor about it all.
I sure hope those living on island (and RickG) don't mind being included, but I couldn't resist. Guess it's easier to ask forgiveness rather than permission. Thanks for being good sports. I appreciate all your past advise.
Ksea, you're welcome to share it. Hope the newbies get it. This will be our second week-long trip, so we're practically newbies, too.

When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Kentucky, because everything there happens 20 years after it happens anywhere else. – Mark Twain

Good Lord,Girl! So many "few" questions! Here are a few answers....
Only carry-on - for our 2 weeks, 2 backpacks, nothing to "bring back!"
Ship to Connections, all your basics plus fins,
Your few other basics and GIRL, you're all in!
Your K-Y, I recommend good old Johnson's Baby Oil; Your snacks, sunscreen, bodywash, shampoo,
Your first-aid and Deet, it all looks good on you!
St. Thomas and welcome rum seems lately, "soon come",
I divert to baggage claim and buy it "post rum!"
On to the island where hair you can braid, any day of the week at dock in Cruz Bay.
Charlotte Amalie close to Airport...longer ferry ride on to Cruz Bay....
Red Hook to Cruz Bay....bumpier ride...shorter excursion to vacation day!
Rentals a must, whether taxi or car,
My thought is a car, you'll see more week by far..
First timers, Maho Bay Camps, a great experience,
More timers, a villa, makes all the difference.
STJ Spice, not first for newbies, this is true...
But the only stop for "eating in" plus taking home with you.
If you're a newbie like we once were, our first years meant Hamilton's; total island "Chill"...
Once you're an oldie, only car rental will do..more island to see seems to fit the bill....
You need 4 wheel drive for so many reasons...
Small island, many beaches, one week, whatever season!
All on the left, a challenging change,
especially for Honey's who find it hard to re-arrange!
Parking cars is much cheaper than taxis, I know...
Been there, done both, but on your own means the most!
