I love this forum and read it every day. Sometimes I post but then get "poster's remorse" after saying something dumb. :oops: Everyone here is very tolerant.

This forum has gotten me through a long winter of anticipation for our trip in June.

One thing I am worried about - What if the whole family gets addicted to STJ? What if we can't kick the habit? What if we can't help ourselves and buy into one of those new developments that no one approves of?:shock:

My husband asked me the other day why I was spending so much time on a forum to STJ. He said, "It's a one week trip to someplace we've never been. How much is there to talk about?" Silly man! :roll:

Some gorgeous underwater photos on this forum prompted me to register so I could ask, "Where did you take those?!??!?"

I've been reading these boards regularly since my husband and I started planning a trip to St. John back in January. (We're coming in mid-May! Wheee!)

Haven't posted until today; usually I find the answer to my questions in previous threads.

The only thing I couldn't find was a review of the villa we chose (Caribbean Cove), so maybe I'll give a trip report when we get back.

The info has been very helpful, so I'm also de-lurking to say "thanks"!

I am a little bit of an offender of this. I did post some questions recently about Coconuts Villa, but I have been reading this forum for a while now and I keep reading it. My husband and I are going to St John in October to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We are really looking forward to it. Is there anything really romantic to do that I should know about? Thanks to all! I have appreciated all of your input and tips.

I would recommend reserving a table for the first seating at Asolare. Mention that it is your honeymoon when you make the reservation. That way you will be most likely to get a table on the rail. The views are outstanding and the food has gotten much better than it used to be, in my opinion.

Congrats on your wedding! :D

Ok Rick G., I had to find out what the heck a Myers Briggs test was. Thanks, now I have a new complex! :shock:

Kidding aside, I was an ENTP. Pretty interesting.

Always read...sometimes post. By nature, I am a listener and reader. I'll post if I feel I have something to add or as, in past posts, many questions/advice for the more extroverted forum members. When on the laptop at home, my guys don't even ask anymore what I'm reading...they know I'm on this forum! As an aside, went to the Dominica forum, noted Jorge's hello and goodbye and concur....lots of on island experiences from Karen but no one else. That's why I love this forum....good people, great sense of humor, wealth of knowledge and love of STJ!

Usually the 80/20 rule can be applied to stats like this i.e. 20% of the registered members making 80% of the posts, but maybe it might be more like 10% making 90% of the posts, no doubt skewed by the "expert" factor.
