If there is nothing on the lens now I would suspect a bug on the lens at the time of the shot.

I'm guessing Lady Bug. It's easily fixed with Photoshop

I thought maybe a flying puffer fish, but they're almost totally unknown in that part of the world.
I've never used Photoshop. What little I've seen of it looked anything but easy.

Looks like lens dirt. Was it on more than one image?
Nice job on the fix CG. Thats pretty cool that photoshop can do stuff like that.
