Well, the poor Eagles thought they were soaring last weekend but then "Da Bears" clipped their wings with a 97 yard drive to the endzone as the clock ticked down to seconds to go in the game. Just had to rub that in a lil' bit...Go Bears!!!!!
I probably shouldn't ask, but what's up about helicopter rides over there? Is it an environmental issue? I remember making a "hooray" comment about how things were looking up at Red Hook (because the terminal building was nearing completion and the car barge dock seemed to be so much less confusing) and I got slammed to the mat for making such a careless comment without considering the impact on the environment. Oy!

Mary...it's just horrible I tell ya. Husband has been in a depression since the season started. He's taking his home made penalty flags and has actually thrown it at one of my cats, hitting her on the head

Hello!!! Finally found where you all are. I'm a longtime lurker over there & just shake my head at the rudeness and arrogance disguised as helpfulness.
Too much rum and a rather pathetic existence makes people feel self-important behind a monitor. More to be pitied than anything else but don't let any royalty want-to-be run you off. The US had a little revolution against the monarchy back in the 1700's, dontchaknow?

I love it over here and find I am much more "relaxed" in my answering style - I can joke, I can have short answers, I can be sarcastic (that never happens ) I can be alot of things and never feel as though I'm going to be "chewed out" 
I was just on the "other" "other" forum, where I was being myself, and gave a (what I thought was a cute) short answer complete with a smily face, and was bashed by a poster whoses grand total of posts was 3 by the way, for being unhelpful on a forum - so I just gave it right back - I'm sure he/she will have to have the final word but in the mood I'm in (lack of any alcohol today - just waiting for my glass of wine - yeh right ) I'm up for some sh** slinging.......yeah ha.......bring it on cowboy
