Yikes.
Are earthquakes common on St. John?

There was a small one when we were on island. They are actually more common than you think. Not big ones though.

I believe (off the top of my head) we are in Zone 4 the same as California as there is a major "trench" just north of us - I'm too lazy to look up the exact info and names (after all it is Sunday you know

This earthquake wasn't as scary as other ones. It was very short and mild. I thought it was a big truck going by!

Gotta agree CG. Seems like a small worry. Big is when your TV lands in bed with you and water in your pool goes down one foot ala 1994. But then again I live 5 miles from the epicenter.
