For those of you that get water in your ear and can't get it out, I have a cure that always works for me. I have my husband blow smoke from his cigarette into my ear. This works every time.

Swimmer's Ear has always worked for me; I bring it any trip where swimming is involved.

This remedy was given to me by a Dr. in the STX ER many years ago - pour a little rum (Cruzan) into your ear. The water and alcohol combine, and alcohol evaporates quicker than water - after a few doses, problem solved....
Use ear plugs as prevention, I never snorkel without them...

I always just tilt my head to the side and hop on the opposite foot. Maybe you've tried that, though?!

That's what my wife does. She says it works, but she looks funny doing it
Tom... I like your solution the best... Might lead to some face slaps, however...
"Excuse me... You're hot. Can you blow in my ear? I have water in it."

Time to start working on convincing the wife that we have to go back soon!
