The camera is an older Panasonic Lumix - its a great point and shoot camera. I don't remember the exact model but its pretty close to this one:

We use to have one of those. Forget how I broke it but I did. I might have to look into it again. We have a Kodak one now and I really do not care for the color in the photos. A point and shoot is right down my alley since I am so hard on them anyway! Thank you.SusanNJ wrote:The camera is an older Panasonic Lumix - its a great point and shoot camera. Absolutely loved your trip report Susan! You always stay at the nicest places!
Kaleidoscopic looks perfect~ I would love to stay there someday! Did you have a remote or code to get into the Ditliff gate? I have not been out that way in years so I wondered if they have built any other villas on that point yet.
Caneel is perfect too! (even more perfect without rain but no complaining here! You missed a snow storm for goodness sake!)
Thanks again for taking me right back to my happy place too . . . how are you gonna top that next year?

Pianogrl - Kaleidoscope is pretty much run by the owner. They have their own website. Unfortunately with its popularity the intro prices are no longer: www.kaleidoscopeusvi.com
msgcolleen - Yes we were given a code to get into the gate. Besides one big climbing turn, the ride to Ditleff Point wasn't too bad. I just would get nervous making the right into the point since there is a blind turn coming from the other way. My post trip depression has kicked in and I am already thinking about next year. I know its going to be difficult to top this one for sure. Hoping to coax another couple with us so we can go back
