Has anybody recently stayed at Hale Lani or ChocoCruz?
I've missed out on a couple of villa options I was interested in for next fall already, so I need to get my planning in gear. Does anybody have any recent experience staying at either of these villas? Are they in good shape... nice, unobstructed views, etc.? Any info. you have would be greatly appreciated!

Stayed at Hale Lani this past December. Awesome views and location. Quiet, clean, private, and well-equipped.
Not major stuff, but some things showing some wear and in need of attention- kitchen counter wooden edge treatment worn, one of the ceiling fans barely turned, a couple light fixtures not functioning even after I replaced the bulbs, beach towels clean, but getting worn. Furniture cushions, bedding, sheets, and mattress's were all excellent though.
For the money, Hale Lani is a great value for being so close to the water and the views- would stay there again. If DSJ and the owners do some minor stuff it will make this great villa even better.
