In memory of Dickhead
In memory of Dickhead
Many of you knew Dickhead (Sammy) if you have stayed a Cruz Views. He really made our stays there a little more special. He was a charmer as I really am not a cat guy but I loved this little guy. Well I'm sad to say I think he has went to kitty heaven. On our trip in Sept he was not anywhere to be found and he usually finds you pretty quik when you stay there. The caretaker said he had not seen him for a few weeks and thought he probably had passed. If anyone has seen him on there stay at Cruz Views after Sept 2010 great would love to here it. If anyone has a pic of the little guy feel free to post. I know he had alot of fans out there. He certainly knew how to make himself right at home.

I loved that cat! I had such a bad burn that my legs were swollen and fluid filled, he jumped up on my lap and even though it hurt I couldn't kick him off, by the time he decided to jump off I noticed perfect kitty footprint indentations left on my leg. I promise I did not share the beer with him it was only a photo prop. I knew him as cross eyed kitty which speaks for itself in the 2nd picture. I am sure he received lots of love, just look at how he touched all of us. Sad to hear the news.

Well, that's sad. As "feral" cats go, though, he had a pretty good life, I think! He seems to have been perpetually on vacation
Yea I think he had a pretty good gig going there at Cruz Views. One of the condo owners said they took him to the vet once a year for checkups
Probably why he lived so long, the caretaker said he was at least 11 years old. I'm getting teary eyed just thinkin about the little guy.

I loved that crooked eye cat! So sad to hear that he's passed but you're correct, he had a GREAT life. I'm sure I have photos very similar to the capts but not on the computer I'm on now.
The folks at Sailview recently adoped a cat - 'Mr. Buttons'. He looks just like him but less crooked eyed. We enjoyed hanging out with him when we were there earlier ths month.

Sad indeed.
My daughter called him Panda.
