As long as you have a car, Sailview in Coral Bay will a a fantastic choice as you could rent both guest suites - http://www.sailviewstjohn.com/

If you're like us and want to extend your stay somewhere inexpensive, you might consider one of the campgrounds. We've stayed in the "eco tents" at both Maho and Concordia, and really liked both as a cheaper way to add a few days to the vacation. Keep in mind we are NOT campers, but loved our stays there!
My biggest bit of advice, though, is to add the "extra" days at the beginning of the trip, rather than the end, especially if you do a campground or hotel/condo. It's a lot easier moving FROM a tent or hotel/condo TO a nice luxurious villa than the other way around...
