Caneel closing in October
Does anyone know if we could still park in their lot to get to Honeymoon? Could we check out their beaches (gypsies in the palace style)? Are there any worth checking out?

Hi Minde,
On Gerald Singer's website, he says that once you park at the Visitors Center there are two different trails to get to Honeymoon. One way is easier but has no views, and there's a harder one that brings you up on the ridgeline for water views. Here is a link that explains better than I could:

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

For the first time ever, the Caneel Bay Resort has closed its doors to guests.
The resort, which has welcomed guests to its charming, low-key North Shore property for more than 50 years, closed on September 1 and will not reopen until October 31.
During the two-month closure, no residents or guests are allowed on the resort’s property; however, its Honeymoon and Caneel beaches are still open to the public, which must access the beaches by foot from North Shore Road.
Guards at the Caneel Bay Resort entrance will only grant access by foot to Caneel Bay and Honeymoon beaches. Cars cannot park on the resort property during its closure.
