I love having my toes done for summer - one of my favorite shades is "really I'm not a waitress" - the name says it all - samoka

I get my finger done with a French so they match everything but my toes are ALWAYS a fluorescent pink or orange. They just look so awesome against the sand!!

XOXO

I LOVE purple toes. Any color will do - but I typically like plums. It's not the most festive color, but it does look nice. I also like orange or a bright coral. The turquoise looked good with Vicki's tan skin, but it's not for everyone (like my pale skin). I don't care for green or yellow (unless you have a darker complexion, like a Latina or African American). Different colors are fun, nail polish isn't a long term commitment. If you don't like it after one toe, ask them to change it!

Now THAT would be fantastic! Remind me to look at your toes! :)

I always have to choose a dark color (chocolate brown, plum, dark blue). I'm a runner and after marathon training, the toes (muchless the toenails) are in no shape to have some light pink girly thing going on.

I don't tan...I'm actually photosensitive, German-Irish to boot, but I love Opi's 2009 Summer Pink that is called..."Party in my Cabana"! It's my pick. :D
Hoping for a USVI ticker in 2013!

If you go to the right salon, they can paint anything you want .

My manicurist does Red Sox "B",s and NE Patriots logos.

I'm fairly conservative, but for the summer (or the islands) I go with bright blue or pink and if I feel like a splurge, I'll get a flower with a crystal center on the big toe; hands are usually french.

I've always been a pink or red nails kinda gal, but recently went a bit out of the box to a coral orange that I am loving! It's OPI's Melon of Troy, it's the color of a ripe cantaloupe. So summery, yet not too 'out there.' :D

I love to put unusual colors on my toes. They don't see the light of day much, except at home, so it's my own little secret bit of fun. Red, bright orange, red-orange, metallic pink, sparkly purple, pale green, turquoise, deep ocean blue, cotton candy....

I always choose something fun for vacation and usually get positive comments from people who notice.

Gromit went brave and I went boring....

She got a lovely coral/orange color and I got well ... a light pink/beige with a little sparkle in it.

I tried to talk her into painting every other toe a different color but it didn't work!

I love the reds-figure they look good with a tan, but had a question ---do you match your toes and fingernails? In my work (parts manager tractor store)I can't usually wear fingernail polish-get my fingers banged around too much and it wouldn't last long, but just wondered what others do? Thanks!

Go bold! I find that if you do not have a special top coat put on a French manicure that it will yellow in the sun.
I always go darker on my toes. Lighter lasts longer for me on my fingernails.
