It's still winter here in VT
This is about as off-topic as you can get on a USVI forum...
Just wanted to let everyone know that the ski season is not finished in Vermont. Come on up - it's beautiful! It'll make the wait for your next trip to the islands go a bit quicker.

Good to see that you are all wearing your helmets!!!!
Spring is usually about 5 days in May! Nah... it's not that bad. When we have a day like yesterday with beautiful blue skies, and temps that really invite us to play outdoors, everyone is happy.b-as-u-r wrote:So, when does your Spring start; somewhere around Memorial Day? Ali~
Winter in VT makes STJ that much sweeter.

We actually have a fifth season here. It's affecionately known as Mud Season. We have more miles of unpaved roads than we do paved roads. So as the snow melts ...voilla! Mud Season...it dries up by Memorial Day. Heheheheeee....

I searched high and low for this classic VT mud season pic, but I couldn't find it. It was a fake where someone had cut the roof off a car and placed it in the middle of this horrificly muddy, rutty road. It looked as if the car had sunk into the mud. If anyone knows of it, I'd love a link.

I even wear one now since you can get iPod type speakers in them.sailorgirl wrote: Good to see that you are all wearing your helmets!!!!

Too Funny Cid! Mud season is such a joy. I'm forever re-thinking my routes to make sure I don't get bogged down somewhere.Cid wrote:We actually have a fifth season here. Shouldn't be a concern today. Lots-o-sun on tap. Might even get another couple of ski runs in before the snow goes...
