Mahojim
Ahhhhhh yesss we love your style too. Been going to STJ for 11 years now and got our arrival down exactly. Always get to our exquisite MAHO BAY!!!
Last May when we arrived on island was the only time we did not make it to Maho on our first day...due to the fact i got extremely sick one hour after we got there. think it was food posioning..yuck
But yessss maho bay is where the magic is i swear. There is something about that beach and the water is very healing and comforting.
Oh yeah soon come

We travel from Virginia so its an all day affair...but we are NEVER bothered by it...when we land we get a cocktail at the airport, catch a cab to Red Hook, meet our villa greeter at the ferry dock, pick up our car, head to the villa, unpack, get an early dinner/drinks, pick up groceries at Starfish and get to bed...we've been up since 4am so we're tired...but its a GOOD tired...Can't wait to get back...
We've been going to the Keys for years - this is our first family trip to STJ - but I expect the routine to be the same - stop at the villa to see what is what - go to the store and get the essentials - rum, beer, mixers, burgers and buns - back to villa to wait for everyone to show up - and party down - we go with our adult children and their spouses and we have a blast - we usually stay up too late and get up too early -there is time to sleep in freezing NH = can't wait - my only trip to STJ was with my girlfriend and I can't wait to share the beauty and wonder with my family - samoka
