hypothetical question (hopeful, but hyopthetical)
If you were to fly your own plane into STT, and your dog,(a large but very kind German Shepherd) were to come with you, would you be able to bring said dog into STJ? Would you need any special requirements or paperwork? If you could get said dog into STJ, would there be any villas, condos, etc that would allow a dog? Just a thought.
No problem bringing the dog to STT or STJ - it has to have a current health certificate (within 10 days of arriving) from your vet and be current on it's shots.
I have seen some condos listed on VRBO that allow pets but have never know anyone to actually do it.
Also, do know that dogs are not allowed on any beaches within the National Park.

Thanks for the info Pia. Just sort of dreaming outloud. So far the only parts of this equation that exist are the husband and the dog. Both travel extremely well. In our 30 years and 5 dog marriage this is the best dog we have ever had. Would never have considered this question with any other dog. He loves to travel, goes with us on alot of our travels and constantly amazes everyone, sometimes even us, with his calm and obedience. I haven't decided if it's because he's a german shepherd, or if we have just become better at being dog parents. He is a long haired shepherd though, and he does get hot.
Gibney beach is not part of the Park although the water is (at least that is what I have been told) - go figure that one
and I have heard of dogs getting into trouble for taking a swim in the ocean at Gibney when caught by a ranger, all of the other North Shore Beaches are within the National Park. Haulover is out of the National Park.
