SOS - Who will it be? HRC.... BR....
Both have talked with Barack - HRC has actually been asked.... WHO WILL IT BE?
i too was a Richardson supporter at the beginning--I canvassed for him to get him on the ballot here in NY--I thought the breadth of his experience in energy, international diplomacy, education and governance was just what the country needed--unfortunately he lacks a bit in the fire in the belly charisma department..Terry wrote:Loria,
Funny, BR was actually our first choice for the Dem. party, over HRC and BHO. He is a wise man that speaks his mind freely.
It will all be very interesting in the days to come.
I still think he'd be a great SOS.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
Of the two choices given, my vote would probably go to HRC (can't believe I just typed that).
Here are a couple of suggestions...How about Joe Lieberman? He's a moderate who would make a nice SoS...Yes, I know, he's about to be tossed from the party - no shot. Here's a better one...How about John Bolton?
Anybody but John Kerry, who was the early rumored candidate.
I will be waiting for the first Republican to get the nod for a cabinet position (not holding my breath though).
