i imagine it will be HRC for purely political reasons--though personally i would rather see BR, i think he is the better candidate for SOS

And to think when I read SOS, I'm thinking you were talking about the BCS rankings. Much more important than the SOS you were talking about.

Do you all remember I was laughed at in earlier political discussions that HRC would be his choice for SOS?

Are those folks still laughing at my suggestion?

BR is a good guy, but not as polished as HRC.

Polished or not, i think BR has more diplomatic experience in the truest sense of the word--
but it will probably go to HRC for other reasons,
both would be fine choices

Loria,
Funny, BR was actually our first choice for the Dem. party, over HRC and BHO. He is a wise man that speaks his mind freely.

It will all be very interesting in the days to come.

i too was a Richardson supporter at the beginning--I canvassed for him to get him on the ballot here in NY--I thought the breadth of his experience in energy, international diplomacy, education and governance was just what the country needed--unfortunately he lacks a bit in the fire in the belly charisma department..

I still think he'd be a great SOS.

What a brave sole you are for going for a New Mexico candidate in NY. God Bless You!

Wow, it's just hitting home that the states that made the difference were possibly favorites of the East coast?

That is a first!

Of the two choices given, my vote would probably go to HRC (can't believe I just typed that).

Here are a couple of suggestions...How about Joe Lieberman? He's a moderate who would make a nice SoS...Yes, I know, he's about to be tossed from the party - no shot. Here's a better one...How about John Bolton?

Anybody but John Kerry, who was the early rumored candidate.

I will be waiting for the first Republican to get the nod for a cabinet position (not holding my breath though).
