So many women can only dream of a husband who is so incredibly in love and take such care with their needs, in life and the next. Tom, Thank you for sharing. My husband is my best friend and I know that I would have a really tough time having to talk about him but, as you did, I would definitly want to respect his last wishes. I am crying as I write this because I can feel the love the two of you had for each other just reading your posts. You are both in our prayers and I will think of you when we are there this summer. It will make one of my favorite beaches that much more special.

Tom, thank you for bringing back your original trip report in memory of your wife....she was truly a beautiful lady. I knew that you lost your wife because of previous posts but had never seen your trip report. I am a one year BC survivor and I told S/O the other day that somewhere down the road when it's my time I want my ashes on STJ - haven't decided on the location yet....need to go back many more times before I decide!

More importantly, thank you for thinking of Carolyn, knowing what she is dealing with right now. What better way to honor your love than to post a photo of the "good times!"
