Re: Painkillers aside, what else at Soggy Dollar?
Second the conch fritters and roti. The lobster at One Love is also great. Even without cocktails, you can't have a bad time on JVD. My 5 year old still talks about how fun the Soggy Dollar is. He particularly likes the bean bag chairs on the Kekoa, the Ring Game (he hooked it twice on his first tri...

Great suggestions. Thank you. We've got a trip on the Kekoa planned for this weekend. This our son's fourth trip and feel horrible that this happen on our first day. He's been looking forward to swimming In the ocean and pool for the past month.

STJ with 4 year old and no swimming
Minor medical issue and now our 4 year old beach and pool loving son can't go swimming for the rest of our vacation (5 days on island). I'm thinking we'll do some hikes, but what other non water activities would you all suggest? He can play at the beach, but I'm worried about him feeling like he's m...

Re: TREASURE RIDGE,HALI LANI,PALM HILL?? NEED HELP PLEASE!
I suspect you've already booked and moved on, but we stayed at Hale Lani last year and loved it. One of the nicest homes we've stayed at. That said, it wasn't great for our family set-up (2 couples and a 4 year old), but I would totally stay there again when our son is older. Keep in mind that the 3...

Re: Skyflower 2013 Trip Report - Part 6 (over and out)
Great trip report, Dreamshark!! You mentioned that you were using your iPhone camera. What waterproof case did you use? Did you have any problems with it leaking? I brought a (not inexpensive) waterproof camera with me last year that leaked on my 3rd day out, and I have an old iPhone I wouldn't mind...

Halloween on St. John - for kids
Having been to St. John for St. Pats day, I suspect Halloween is a blast for adults. But, I'm wondering if there are any activities for the younger set. Does anyone know? We'll have our 4 year old with us, and while he's too young yet to appreciate that he's missing out on trick-or-treating with his...
