Anyone to Share a Charter in October?

Post by Gr8Escape »

I know it may be a little last minute but I would like to do a charter with Palm Tree Charters but the price is a little steep for just hubby and I so if anyone else will be around, we'd love to split the cost.
We are on island from Oct 13-27 and Sue from Palm Tree told me she currently has the following available:
Open dates are: Oct 17, 18, 19 24 and 26
Of course it cold be subject to change.
We are very flexible in where we go.
We are late 40's, love to snorkel, hang out and see other places.
So if anyone is interested please just respond to this or PM and we'll see what we can arrange.
Thanks

We are available Wed Oct 17. We have gone out with John several times and are up for most anything. Would probably want to hit Jost but any other interim destination would be great. Snorkling and/or bar hopping (emphasis on Jost again) is fine. PM me if interested.

Thanks for the responses guys.

As it turns out, I probably will not do the charter. I found out from Sue at Palm Tree that they no longer go to the Baths and in addition to the charter fee the price of gas is another $150-$200.
I really wanted to see the Baths and the Caves so I think we might have to jump on one of those party boats and see what happens. Actually Cruz Bay Watersports sounds like it might fit the bill.
Also, because we are going to be there for 2 weeks, we will likely consider doing the ferry over to Jost and being able to spend the day. A lot of comments make it sound like when you do it as part of a tour, you have just enough time to get off the boat an get your drink and then get back on.
If I am going there I'd like to relax, hang out and be able to drink.

Anyway - that's where it stands for now. Thanks for responding and maybe we'll see you on island.

If anyone else is interested ... I believe we have 2 couples who would be willing to go. It would be nice to get a 3rd couple to help defray the costs. Otherwise I guess we can all ride over on the ferry together!

I believe the other Capt. John, of Island Roots still goes to the Bath's. He is currently off Island, but will be returning soon.
