Seen this? http://www.caribbeanchannel.tv/video/13059-vies-beach-and-hiking-to-newfound-bay-st-john-usvi.html Just curious What's the Windy Level that's mentioned on Trip Advisor? - About a mile and a half up Centerline Road, left hand side (if coming from Cruz Bay), right after the second "hid...

Actually heard that you can own Pastory Gradens for that extra six million you've got laying 'round the house.

I've gotten to be the "co-pilot" on several puddle jumper flights in the islands and I don't think there's a better seat! Becky was lucky!

Maybe I'm reading you wrong, Anthony, but an "off-topic" forum for STT travelers? Still remember when this forum was just a fledgling, the days when you first started and then we got to "vote" and voice our opinion about the STT/STJ split. Not your fault as you listened to the me...

Will take on the Anguilla comparison and other than it's a wonderful island there really is little to compare to St. John. Anguilla is flat. more arid and the green you see is around the resorts with the landscaping. The beaches are absolutely stunning and long and lovely. No off-beach snorkeling to...

The first thing I learned a million years ago when I first went to St. John was to shake out your shoes and check the bed for critters! Has stuck with me for all these years - never found a critter tho but sure have seen 'em! Best I can do is baking soda for ants and don't know nothin' about lavender.

When you mention "NJCare" having just done some serious navigating in/around the local "University" hospital makes me wince - but the docs were great! Anyone here heads to NYC or Philly if its serious - can we get "evacation insurance?" That aside, anyone traveling with...

Think the "fine dining" at the Ritz is now called Bluwater and it is really quite good. The Ritz may still do a private candlelit dinner on the beach -ask. Also a nice cocktail/sunset sail is on the Lady Lindsey. They also do a private picnic lunch where they drop you off at Great St. Jame...

Some planes have all three - first, business and steerage - but on many flights, especially the leisure routes, there is no first class but a buisness class. I definitely think it is worth it (depending on your miles balance and the cost of your flight) especially when the fare is so low that it is ...

You will absolutely love Sol y Sombra. We stayed on Mahoe last March as it was already booked but it is really stunning - but did take a peek from the driveway!

shhhhhhh .... please keep the BVI's - especially Virgin Gorda - nature's little secret. I would hate to see it change in the ways that St. John has changed. It is still pristine with wonderful resorts (in all price ranges) and villas right on great beaches. Good snorkeling at Devil's Bay and Spring ...

Tons of shells and other "sea souvenirs" are collected at the STT airport as guests leave. You might not have been checked or even asked but I've seen folks have to give 'em up. And they don't bother to ask where you got 'em. (But the best shelling is at Brewers and after a storm).

Seems that I remember reading that Delta will be flying into St. Kitts and Bonaire now so am sure that there will be more changes down the road since there are only x number of planes. I remember once that AA switched our flight and split us up putting each us on completely different flights from ea...
