Are bugs a real issue in St John? Here in Miami I haven't seen a bug in months, aside from a stray fly. Am I going to need bug spray?

Purpose of the trip is partially to get away from everything, think, and stare up at the stars. I'll be arriving next Monday, and was curious what beaches qualify as the most empty? If any ... Are there any issues with safety at night? If not from humans, what about deadly spiders, monster venemous ...

Yeah its astounding what kind of bad information you can get from one phone rep that ends up being completely different than what another phone rep says. If you ever get the vibe that you're not getting accurate info, just do what I do. Hang up and hit redial. You'd be surprised how often that works...
