I have friends staying at Fair Winds and Following Seas. I don't have any direct experience there but the price was right and the bedrooms are separate with their own hot tub. No a/c but close to Coral Bay. Fair Winds and Following Seas Another that we really like is Casa Bueno. Great reviews around...

I have tried a number of waterproof cameras over the years and my favorite, for both under water and above, is the Panasonic TS2. They are releasing the TS3 soon so depending upon when your trip is you may be able to pick up the new version which has better waterproofing and built in GPS. Buy a floa...

We stayed at Casa Bueno last year and have family staying there in a March this year. Its a very nice villa that is stocked well. The location is fantastic, easy to get to north shore or east end and not too far from Cruz or Coral Bay. I believe the new owners have installed a pool heater which will...

To answer your question, probably. If there phones are set to roam they will definitely connect to the BVIs if you are on the east end of the island. I was connected to the BVIs at both Maho and Salt Pond today. Call your cell provider and see if you have an international roaming/texting add on that...

There is a solar cover on the pool that can be removed when you want to use it. The pool, grill, sitting area, living area, kitchen and two bedrooms are on one level. There is a master suite upstairs with its own deck and another bedroom on the lower level (which is the same level as the parking) Gr...

Thanks, I am not worried about getting people there and cars, we have that figured out. Thinking more about the outdoor and main living area and if it will be large enough, we don't need to sit everybody at a table its going to be casual. Anyone else have any other ideas for a nice 6 bedroom mid-isl...

Chateau Margot

Has anyone stayed here recently or can you point me to any newish reviews? How about any additional pictures (other than the ones on the management company's website)? Planning a trip for our families next year and need to gather up some additional info. Thanks! PS - if there are any other similar 6...

So they knew how to take the reservation, just not Hold the reservation... Unfortunately I have had this happen in the states with Hertz, Avis and Enterprise as well. I think there is something in the fine print if they don't have a car or what not they don't have to honor your reservation (this is ...

Just had the blue cheese burger with bacon from Skinny's last Friday and must say its one of the best I have had.

Didn't hurt that the folk band playing had an impromptu bagpipe addition from the crowd - beer, burger and banjo/bag-piping made for a pretty rad time...

We got in Saturday from Chicago through Miami and had no issues, actually a little early. Here is a pic looking east at Coral Bay, a little hazy this morning out over the BVIs but not bad. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_2L6_jsXBlKQ/S3jDHg0LExI/AAAAAAAAAsw/5rNTGnbKx_0/s640/View%20from%20Casa%20Bueno%202.14.JPG

Tipsy - Depending on when your trip is there are two notable waterproof point and shoot cameras that were just announced. They are probably a couple months from being released. Olympus Tough 3000: hopefully better waterproofing than the last version and uses SD cards instead of Olympus proprietary f...
