Since, we've been home (March) I simply cannot get that place out of my head. Daydream about it all the time..and I'm already trying to plan our next trip. We rented from Courtesy and they were great about meeting us at the Ferry after hours and then took us to the office to fill out paperwork, etc.

We went to Oahu and Kauai several years ago. Definitely prefer Kauai. We stayed in the Hanalei Bay area and it was just beautiful! It is different than STJ, but beautiful just the same.

Seaside is a great little town, down 98 toward Panama City, on 30A. This is where they filmed part of The Truman Show. All along 30A are little towns....Seagrove, Grayton, Watercolor, Seacrest, Rosemary.....Makes a nice day trip.

Depending on what you are looking for, we loved Seaside. It is so small and quaint. If you want more action, it's an easy 15 or so minute drive to Destin

We stayed at the Mafolie for 2 nights last May and loved it. We would definitely stay there again. The restaurant was great and the views magnificent!!
