We flew in Christmas day and I think the tickets were around $3000 for the 5 of us. Honestly, I like St. John better in the summer months, cheaper, warmer an less crowded....not that we didnt have a good time but just sayin

XOXO, We snorkeled at Salt Pond and it was ok, a little cloudy, but better than Maho, that was impossible to see anything and it is usually so calm! Trunk Bay looked like you could surfboard the waves were so high! Little Lameshur and Haulover were fine though. It is odd how one side can be raging w...

Ok..I feel bad now about feeding the donkey! It was only once though, I promise and no more. We saw them mostly around Coral Bay. If you go to Coral World, you really should swim with the sea lion, that was a lot of fun, the kids especially liked it. Overall as much as I enjoyed the trip, I like St ...

We are here...got in Christmas Day. The water is colder, but once you are in it is fine. We went to Maho to snorkel but very windy and wavy, really couldnt see anything. We are hopeful the surf will be down tomorrow.

Have to laugh at all of these Davy Jones posts. He lives right by us in Central PA, owns a horse farm. He sings at all the local bars and one night got very drunk and started a fight in the parking lot! That made the paper.
He seems like a nice guy though, and he is still cute.

Spirit Air

Hi, Does it make sense to book with Spirit Air now for a trip in December? Do their rates ever go down and if they do go down and you have already booked do they honor the lower rate or is it a crap shoot? Wondering if it makes sense to keep looking and wait. We are going Christmas Day to New Years ...

St. John for Christmas

We just booked our fifth trip to St. John, but this is the first trip during high season. We will be arriving on Christmas Day, leaving New Year's Day. I am a little nervous about this. I am now thinking we should have arrived Dec 26th as everything will be closed! Also, my husband decided to rent a...
