Re: Life On A Rock
The Kristi Hansen tribute/video was beautiful and touching. What an amazing young woman with those striking blue eyes. She was surely loved by many of her island friends and her husband.

Who has purchased it to bring home? We're flying Delta, not sure if I can bring it back as a carry-on or checked?

Re: Wouldn't it be nice....
My first thought was the cost of renting a space and electricity would be prohibitive for any money generated. Wouldn't it be nice if the animal shelter had a small covered spot on site during open hours? We could donate fins, coolers, beach toys, chairs, STJ books, even leftover rum (is there even ...

Re: 2012 VIOL Ornament Gift Swap
I have a question! I know who my person is. I tried to click on my old Elfster e-mail where it said who my "draw" was and mailing info. It now says "content has expired." What do I do?

Re: Prayers Needed
My friend's father-in-law passed away yesterday. She spent the night with me last night as all of her family members are still in Sarasota. As she relayed to me, it was comforting to the family because the hospital chaplain had just said a prayer with the family, said amen and her father-in-law took...

Prayers Needed
One of my best friends invited me and my daughter to Boca Grande this summer. She has been trying to get me to come for years but it has always been my rock time. This June we finally went for a week and so glad we did. Their place is on Park Street, a block of a building that houses family quarters...

Re: rain, rain, and more rain....
For your first rock trip, I am sure it is less than perfect to think of lots of rain. If it is only raining and no swells, snorkeling in the rain is a lot of fun! There are still lots of beaches, bays, shopping to do even if it is raining. Two things.....you will have a memorable vacation and will a...

Office Humor (sort of)
So, I look at my co-worker today and say, "Would they know how to feed themselves and use the bathroom without us?" She replies, "Only if they'd open their mouths and pull down their pants!" We have 6 high maintenance people in our office and today was really trying. I applaud wo...

Re: Greece
Terry, this probably won't be helpful because we spent 15 days on Lesvos but it was 10 years ago. We stayed at the Delfinia, a family owned small hotel with a restaurant, tennis court, large pool that had a fabulous view of Molyvos Castle, about 2 miles from town. The Delfinia has a website. Our ent...

Re: ways of rising / catching / cooking Iguana
Oh my Lord, these are hilarious! So many creative Iguana Chefs! I don't have a recipe but remember the time my daughter stayed at Harmony. The pet iguana shows up on deck by the grocery and info booth. The nice lady who runs the info booth is explaining how long the Iguana (she had a name) had been ...

Re: WHERE is EVERYONE?
Anthony, I will agree with the caw caw comment by B Know Who that you are "the cheese." I agree, you are the fine cheddar cheese that compliments the forum "crackers!" That comment embarrassed this old forum member. I don't post much anymore and I want to thank you for all you do...
