Which restaurant would you choose?

Post by Kathyzhere »

Okay I've been looking at menus online for eats in the Cruz Bay area for a b-day celebration.

I think I've narrowed down the choices:

Morgans Mango
ZoZo's
Chloe & Bernard's

I do want to try out Rhumblines hopefully
but I'm sticking to Cruz Bay for this one
cuz we'll be doing a sunset cruise prior
on the M/Y Cinnamon Bay.

Sooo all those "foodies" and STJ veterans; which
would you choose??? Looking for varied menu choices.

Thanks!

Kathy

Rhumblines is in Cruz Bay. Rhumblines is one of my favorites and can be great for larger groups.

If you have kids in your group, I would go with Morgans' Mango (out of your choices). If not, Zozo's would be my choice.

Of those 3 I'd have to pick Zozo's but I am not a very big fan of theirs.:( The only time I really enjoyed all aspects of a meal at Zozo's was when we ate at the bar upstairs.

We recently had a very good meal at Waterfront Bistro. :D The food was every bit as good as Zozo's without the attitude, and our service was attentive and well timed. We had a table on the rail, was lovely! Is there a reason you don't have them on your list?

You can't go wrong with any of the following....ZoZo's, Waterfront Bistro or Rhumblines.......

I had great meals at all three....... but I think the ambiance at Waterfront Bistro will blend with your sunset cruise the best -- right on the water --

Enjoy...Bonnie

I'm so glad to hear that Waterfront Bistro is becoming a favorite. They had just opened when we were there last and we loved it and thought they had great potential.

I second Caroline that I enjoyed dinner at Zozo's bar far more than downstairs.

I'll third, fourth and fifth Rhumblines as a wonderful combo of great food, excellent service and relaxed, casual but really attractive atmosphere.

Of those three I would definitely pick Zozos.

Has anyone actually eaten at Chloe and Bernards? I have never heard a good thing about it.

No kids NTL. I had in my mind for some
reason the Rhumblines was in Coral Bay...duh!
I have a high interest in a meal there, however
I do have a few people coming with of "meat &
tater" frame of mind :)

So I'll put that back in the choices for this
specific night!

Thanks,
Kath

I'll go check out the Waterfront Bistro's menu,
thanks for all your opinions!

So right at this moment it's 'tween Rhumblines & Zozos.

I know that Morgans Mango has a lobster night and
we may want to wait and go then.

This b-day dinner will be on Sunday.

Thanks again,
Kathy

Okay, so I really like the Waterfront Bistro's
menu as well!
So it's down to those 3 and I know we'll try all 3 over the
week but for that party of 10 for a b-day on Sunday?

Okay then let me ask; a romantic dinner for 2 as opposed to a semi-loud group of ten...

Thinking maybe the romantic dinner w/ hubs @ Zozos upstairs.

Thanks for all the responses :D
