Arriving Tomorrow
Hello All. Have been a lurker for quite awhile and finally decided to join in. The family and I have been to St Thomas and St John only two times before and are arriving tomorrow for our third stay in paradise. Just like everyone else, we fell in love after the first visit and have been finding ways to make it back as often as possible. Three trips in seven years doesn't seem like enough though. We usually stay on St Thomas and enjoy the sites and sounds there but always spend at least two days on St John. We would be staying on St John this year except my parents are coming along and didn't think they would be able to handle getting to the beaches as easily. Next time.
See, I am already planning the next trip. We are staying in a house on St Thomas called Casa Azure. Arriving around 5pm - any STT suggestions for Thanksgiving dinner?
Thanks for all the info you have given me in the past, even if you didn't know it. You all seem like such wonderful people. Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to the forum!
I took my parents to St. John last year. My Mom has some difficulty walking because of a very bad ankle injury. When you get over to St. John, the beaches that were easiest on her were Maho, Trunk, and Francis. Gibney was actually her favorite, but I think she had a little difficulty with the walk back up the hill.
I am not sure if they are serving anything special for Thanksgiving, but I have always enjoyed eating at Blue Moon Cafe at Secret Harbour Resort (Red Hook). The cafe is on the water, with very nice views. Here is a link to their website...you could call and see what's up:

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
