Discover scuba dive
Discover scuba dive
Hi, I need help, I finally talked my husband into doing a discovery scuba dive. Maho Bay Camp ground offers this for $90.00 each. It sounds like a great deal. Other choice would be Cruz Bay watersports or if you have any other suggestions. I need to hurry up an book this. Way behind schedule this year.

i dove with Maho years ago, but not recently, I would say that the divemaster was excellent and really safety conscious--for persons doing 'resort' dives he was super ---provided a great deal of great instruction and really checked everybody out with their equipment. I am not sure who does their dives now, but i have faith that an operation like Maho would have hired only someone that was great.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
We took our open water dive certification course from Low Key last May. Some of the people who dove with us were taking the Discovery course. They seemed to be just as good with them as they were with us. I don't know if Maho is doing a shore dive or if they have a boat. Low Key took their Discover divers on the boat to the same places as their open water students and experienced divers.
You can check their web site for prices.
I'll bet you get hooked and finish the certification course.

I am a certified diver but my brother-in-law tried the discover scuba with Lowkey and my daughter did it with Cruz Bay out of the Westin and they both enjoyed it very much. Both did a shallow reef dive (Steven's Key) from a boat. They give you about 1/2 hour of instruction and a few hand signals prior to the boat leaving the dock. They were both very comfortable in the water and I would recommend both dive shops.

discover dive
Just did 2 trips last week with Cruz Bay off Westin Dock, one with Chris and Justin and one with Chris and James, I am Certified but they were taking Discover dives in the afternoon. Both dives were great, small groups(4 or 5) and very relaxed and it looked like afternoon groups were about the same.
