Thank You!

A heartfelt "thank you" to any and all veterans, and their families, for their services and sacrifices made so that all of us can enjoy the freedom that America offers.

I'm with ya JT, enjoyed a beautiful ceremony this afternoon here locally. I count my blessing more and more every day that so many have given their lives and have fought for our freedom. Where would I be without them. God bless them all.

My daughter was with a friend and their scout troop delivered thank you cards to all the vets in the area (she is no longer a scout , but helped out with her friend who is)
she learned all about the Korean war and also was amazed at how grateful THE VETS were for being thanked. There was one particularly hard moment for them today, when they went to the house of a Vet who had passed this year--His wife was overcome and the girls felt so bad that they had made her sad--but the widow was so happy to have had her husband's contribution remembered. I think that my daughter learned a lot from this experience.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
