We're back...
We're back...
Sad to say, the great trip to STJ has ended - Leslie and I got home around midnight last night, and are both back at work as of this morning.
It was great getting greeted by Champ last night, and seeing our boys this morning (shows who we really rate with in our house!).
I'll get to work on a trip report soon, but in the meantime I'll just say that we had an excellent 10 days on island - I couldn't believe that they seemed to fly by just as fast as 7 did last year.
We had a wonderful time meeting some of the great folks that are from this forum - it was so nice to feel like you had family (without the attendant baggage!) all over the place. The Beach Bar gathering on 11/2 was awesome, diving with some of the SOTB II girls was great, and the beach party at Honeymoon made for a really fun afternoon.
It seemed like pulling away from the island on the car barge was a little harder this year than leaving was last year - I suppose that's just a reaction from getting a little more infected with St. John fever.
