Wasn't he briefly hospitalized just recently? Lindy is Lindy and I don't think he will change his course for the better before he passes. I don't think it is possible for him to get any skinnier though! I guess we have enabled him in the past by giving him a few dollars or cigarettes. We even gave hime some leftovers from La Tapa. I hope he enjoyed the beef broquets.
I can't really say I'm surprised, but if true, very sad. If I remember correctly, he didn't choose to stay in the hospital to get better. At any rate, he is choosing/has chosen his fate.
I hadn't heard that he died? I saw him last week...He is very very thin and he is very sick. He told me that he had to have surgery on his throat back in July. I don't think he ever did, but I know he is sick.
Is this true? I believe his passing has been reported before. When we visited in early October, I saw Lindy quite a few times. His physical being was shocking - one of our friends traveling with us is a nurse, and she was shocked by his appearance. He was/is so very, very sick. I don't know the story behind his life, but his appearance was certainly heartbreaking.
Yes, it is true. I asked my fiancee this morning and he just confirmed it for me. Lindy was a "cousin" of his. I don't know any other details other than he died last night.
