restaurant dinners you hit every trip

Post by jostuandme »

Just for fun....

I know many of you choose to cook at your villa at night. What restaurants do you hit for dinner EVERY trip and do you save them for your last night or go as soon as you get on island. I'm curious if most of us try new places or never get to them because we love our favs.

We always have to do lunch at Sun Dog Cafe in Mongoose Junction. Everything we've had has been great.

Sadly, we have no favorite place since The Stone Terrace closed.

Happy Noodles at Happy Fish. Very often first place we hit when we drive off the car ferry.

We don't ever cook dinner in, so we have lots of favorites:

Cafe Roma
Lime Inn
Morgan's Mango
Beach Bar (for lunch)
Asolare (last night)

We used to hit Chilly Billy's at least once for breakfast; will need to try the new "Jakes"

Joe's BBQ

Skinny's - food is okay, but it has a fun, relaxing feel (and horseshoes!)...I know some have complained about a smell, but we've been on each trip and thankfully never experienced it.

Deli Grotto in Mongoose for breakfast (the pumpkin oatmeal muffins are unreal - not too sweet which is nice)...They also make these coconut/chocolate bars that are ridiculous!

And of course, Columbos - AKA "The Smoothie Cart"...We probably hit that at least three or four times (opt for the rum infused versions!!!).
July 2003 - Honeymoon at The Westin
July 2004 - Glenmar, Gifft Hill
July 2005 - Arco Iris, Fish Bay
December 2007 - Dreamcatcher, GCB
July 2008 - Ellison Villa, VGE
