Overdue trip report/pictures
So, I'm sitting home on a Friday night (had enough of the rain for today!) and started looking through my pictures from my STJ trip this past May. Thought I'd share a few!
We stayed at Lavender Hill and had a great condo.(working!) air condition, plenty of room, beautifully decorated, was very impressed. (I have a few pictures if anyone is interested.) I had stayed at Gallow's before and loved it but for this trip (two college students) prices were much more reasonable! Matt was extremely helpful and just a very sweet guy!
And the best part..we had this view everyday:
<a href="http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/ ... ley007.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/ ... ley007.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
We also had a little friend that would visit us each morning...
<a href="http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/ ... tjohn7.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/ ... tjohn7.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
The first thing Matt pointed out to us were the hot spots to hit for Happy Hour! We quickly agreed this was a GREAT idea, even though we'd been awake since 2 am!!!
We ate a small dinner at High Tide, had a really nice server that offered to give us a tour of the Island on his boat but we passed
Stuck to the beaches for this trip!

I wasn't too great at this (my mask didn't fit!) but we had fun (lots of laughs!)
<a href="http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/ ... scuba2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/ ... scuba2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Here we are getting ready for a night out: Started with dinner at The Lime Inn. Service could've been better from the waitress but management was AMAZING!!! Such a friendly man!

We spent most nights at The Beach Bar (Woody's was always our happy hour bar but we loved the guys at The B.B.) So much fun! Great crew of people working there! And the walk up the hill wasn't all that bad after a few drinks
Overall, our trip was AMAZING. Spent all day at the beach, never had a drop of rain, lots of shopping, drinking and eating! Perfect way to celebrate my 21st birthday and my friends nursing school graduation!
Everyone was so friendly and my friend, who was a newbie, fell absolutely in love. (enough so that we are thinking about spending a year or so down there......!!!)
This report isn't too thorough but I thought I'd share a little
A few other of my favorite pictures...
