Cool wave/wind direction site

Post by RickG »

Windfinder.com does short-term forecasts of wind and wave directions. Hint, waves coming from the north are exciting on the North shore.

I've been looking for something that could predict wave directions so I could figure out which beaches were getting washed out. Arcane... sure.

Arcane and obscure are good things. I'm fashioning my aluminum foil helmet as I type. I "get" that link.

Gert has a great site http://www.stormcarib.com Does't give daily weather but I find just looking at it gives you a better idea of what to expect than the forecast icons elsewhere...
