Want to see what some real tropical weather looks like???? use www.weathercarib.com anytime in the next 12 hours. Very impressive - especially the loop function.

Its pretty erie outside. We usually have a breeze being up on the hill but there is absolutely no movement what so ever. We had some lightening earlier off in the distance but that's now gone. I guess this is the calm before the storm. I hope its not too bad because Jay has to make another trip to Puerto Rico tomorrow. I'll be keeping an eye on that map for sure.

it started raining around 11pm and hasn't stopped. The cistern isn't overflowing yet but its got to be close. Its definitley a lot cooler this morning than its been for awhile. The marine forecast is calling for 15 to 20 knot winds with gusts to 35 knots and 5-8 foot seas! Jay is going into work, he is supposed to take a boat to Puerto Rico today, but he said he's not taking a boat out into that! Especially with all the sails, Bimini tops removed!

My boss called before I got to work and had come to the same conclusion today was a no go for Puerto Rico. We were supposed to take three boats over in total and it's just not worth the risk. The worst of the storm seems to have passed St Thomas. We just have a steady rain now. Last night we had thunder and lighting and gusty winds. That has moved west to Puerto Rico.

We woke up to find a few pieces of the patio furniture in the house's pool.
Someone forced me to drink too much last night and I missed out on the wind and rain coming in from the windows and roof. Apparently, there was quite a show.
Great Cruz Bay is brown and murky looking. I may go explore later on, but the baldness of the Jeep's tires and the wetness of the rads has me thinking twice.
Eh...last day of the trip. We can't complain at all.
