Milestone Birthday Trip

Post by genipgirl »

As a long-time resident on this board (but haven't posted in years), I thought I would toss out the question. . . Where to celebrate a quickly-approaching milestone birthday????

I'm attempting to round up a group, but the question remains: St. John or elsewhere? I'm very tempted to forego St. John for a beachfront villa on Virgin Gorda. . . However, St. John is more magical to me and is livelier for evenings "out on the town."

I would love to do one of the McMansions on Peter Bay ~ Which is doable with the group, but the airfare sale is ending TOMORROW.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am in the travel industry, so unfortunately my indecisiveness is directly related to the fact that I know too many "great" spots. . . Anguilla, St. Barths, Mustique, Nevis, Palm Island, or even sailing (motoring is more my speed) through the Virgin Islands.

Help?!?!?!?!

I was part of a 50th birthday all girl group last summer. We had a blast!

I did 30 on StJ...actually did that day on Tortola. In 11 days, I'll do the big 34 on St John

In 2010, our friend Tom turns 50...StJ it will be

My wife has 40 coming up in 2011 and she's had her sights on Aruba for a while now as a winter-time change of pace

Christine (Tom's wife) turns 50 in ^$#& years (I am not allowed to say) and we will go wherever the hell she tells us to go. She scares us

For my 40th...I'm going to party like a rock star. I have 6 years to make enough money so me and Sir Rich can party it up on Necker Island.
