Newbie Requesting Coral Bay / Villa Carolina & Agel Inpu

Post by Friend of Jumbie »

Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forum. Only been to SJ once but looking forward to returning in 2009. I wanted to check in to see if anyone has stayed at a particular villa; Villa Carolina. I'm looking for an open airy place in the Coral Bay extended area with a pool and great views of the harbor and BVI. This villa looks really nice but the website is under some construction and I haven't been able to find any reviews online. Has anyone stayed here? Also, the other villa that caught my attention is Villa Agel. Any input and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much! Christine (aka Friend of Jumbie)

Welcome. There have been several good reviews of that house. Some great photos here:

susan & herb stayed at Villa Carolina this past May and she seems to have loved it. In fact, she is renting the villa again for her 2009 trip to St. John. The villa looks wonderful in the photos that she kindly sent me. I'm sure she'll respond to this post, but if not, you should PM her.

By the way, welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the link to the pictures, Jim. Wow - what wonderful photos and such amazing views! Almost too hard to look at from rainy Boston tonight!

Hi Pickle,

Thank you for the welcome! This is such a great community.

I will definitely send a message to Susan & Herb. It's great to hear that they liked it so much that they plan to go back.

Thanks again, Christine

Hey FOJ,

Iowaguy gave you a link to our photo's, man we love that place. We are on island right now staying at Chateau Margot with three families and having a great time. We love the Bourdeaux/Upper Carolina setting. For us, family of three, Carolina Villa is PERFECT. We have stayed there a couple of times and we WILL be returning. I heard from Susan and Herb and they loved the place as well. Please PM me if you have any questions and check out my trip report from last year.

Take care,
Budman

Hi Budman,

Thanks so much for sending a message from paradise! Please have a good rum drink for me!

I was reading through some of the forum history and you've provided a lot of great insight. I will definitely send PM. That area you love is exactly where I hope to stay. It's so amazing.

I hope you are having a fantastic time! I have to dig through my info because I think the villa you are at now is on my list as well.

Cheers! Christine
