Trip Report part 6

Post by Kentuckygirl »

Sunday
We planned on picking up sandwiches at Big Belly Deli but they were closed, so we went to Lily's. They were very gracious there and made sandwiches for us, along with lots of wonderful tabouleh (sp??)
We packed it in our coolers and went to Salt Pond. Not everyone gets this beach, but I love it
How can you not? Picnic tables hidden behind you, white sand, blue water, and very few people???

We did some snorkeling. The guys saw a nurse shark and a spotted eagle ray. We went over to the salt pond and some enjoyed a mud bath.

We walked over to Drunk Bay

We left Salt Pond to try and meet up with the others, stopped at the smoothie stand, and then on to Maho.
We Missed the others, as they were at Cinnamon, but we still had a great afternoon there. I love this beach!

I would have shown them Maho earlier, but I was afraid that we would never get anywhere else.

We went back to the villa for happy hour on the deck,

then to the Beach Bar for Sunday jazz and the forum gathering. We did have to pass the place where one of ours spent a few hours days earlier.

It was great to meet some forum friends and STJ addicts, but I don't have any pictures with you guys :? I ate the Tuna Down Now, which was wonderful and had my first (of probably many)Lime and Coconut.

Here is the beautiful sunset from that night.

Yup, we like the UK shot, too. Good job! :D
